Founding Director
Law student by degree. Defence sector builder by choice.

Arush Deshwal is the Founding Director of CADET, the Council for Advanced Defence Entrepreneurship & Technology. He is a law student by degree and a defence sector builder by choice.
He started CADET on the view that India's defence innovation problem is one of deployment, not invention: the technology and the capital exist, but the pathways connecting founders, operators, investors, and policymakers do not. He convened CADET's first Closed Strategic Roundtable in New Delhi on 9 May 2026.
His work centres on defence procurement and policy, the legal and regulatory frameworks around defence technology, and how capital reaches defence ventures.
He has held a range of leadership roles and has organised events and discussions across entrepreneurship, technology, and law.
