CADET is the coordination institution for India's Defence Innovation Ecosystem, connecting operators, founders, capital, and policy where structural gaps currently prevent alignment. It exists because India's constraint is deployment, not innovation.

India's defence innovation ecosystem has produced capable technology, a growing base of startups, and rising private capital interest, yet translation into operational, scaled defence capability remains structurally constrained.

The bottlenecks are not technological. They lie in procurement predictability, operational validation pathways, capital structures misaligned with defence timelines, and the absence of coordination between operators, founders, investors, and policymakers.

CADET operates at that coordination layer, without a commercial incentive that biases it toward any single constituency in the ecosystem.
